Texas Star Trailers

How to choose the right trailer size

The ELITE line goes from 12 to 30 feet. The right size is not the biggest one — it is the one that matches your menu and your volume.

How to choose the right trailer size

The most common mistake when ordering a first food trailer is buying more length than the operation needs. A longer trailer costs more, is harder to tow and to park, and often ends up with a section that nobody uses during service.

The ELITE line is built in nine sizes, from 12 to 30 feet. The shorter units work well for focused menus: coffee, desserts, tacos, anything with a small number of cooking stations. From 20 feet up you start to have room for a full line — griddle, charbroiler, fryer and refrigeration — with two people working without getting in each other's way.

Our rule of thumb is simple: count your cooking stations first, then add the refrigeration you need to get through a full service without restocking, and only then pick the length. If you tell us your menu and how many covers you expect on your busiest day, we size it with you.
